We, Stefan Mayer Instruments GmbH & Co. KG, are one of the market-leading manufacturers of special devices for magnetic field measurement and control and are on the market since more than 25 years. At our headquarter in Dinslaken (lower rhine area, NRW, Germany) we develop and manufacture our products and sell them worldwide.
To support our development team, we are looking for an experienced and independently working hardware developer with good knowledge of embedded system programming as soon as possible.

Job description:

  • Development and improvement of measuring devices and sensors
  • Independent creation of hardware specifications, circuit concepts and layout
  • Development of analogue and digital circuits
  • Construction of prototypes and subsequent transfer to series production status
  • Programming of microcontrollers and microprocessors
  • Technical documentation
  • Support of the certification process

Your profile:

  • Degree in electrical engineering (communications engineering, communications technology, automation technology or comparable qualifications)
  • 3 years of working experience
  • Confident handling of analogue circuit technology and operational amplifiers
  • Thorough and practical experience in digital circuit development and layout design
  • Knowledge of the common BUS systems SPI, I2C and UART
  • Practical experience in programming microprocessors in C/C++ desirable
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of embedded GUI programming and scripting languages
  • Result-oriented and efficient way of working
